Job summary
Apptronik in Texas is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electronics development for the Apollo humanoid robot. You will own design from concept through production of power electronics, battery interfaces, and PCBA integration, collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and systems teams.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical engineering, a degree in EE, hands-on experience with Altium, LTSpice/PSpice, and PLM workflows, and a track record of delivering robust
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with power electronics and CAD tools.
- Experience with PCB/PCBAs and manufacturing liaison.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Own electronics from Concept to Production: design, simulate, implement, test PCBs and multi-layer boards.
- Drive test fixtures and rigorous prototype evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor/CM relationships.
- Develop detailed build instructions and diagrams for production.
- Support lifecycle management and manufacturability improvements.
