Job summary

Apptronik is seeking experienced electrical engineers to drive the electronics development for the end effectors of the Apollo humanoid robot. You will own electronic systems from ideation through design, testing, and into mass production.

You will work on EOAT, prosthetics, and wearables with a focus on mixed-signal PCBAs, test plans, and collaboration with hardware and manufacturing teams. The role requires strong debugging skills, PLM experience, and travel up to 10% within the US and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 8 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with end effectors EOAT, prosthetics, wearables, and motor drives.
  • Proficient in CAD tools (Altium or equivalent).
  • Experience with PLM systems (Arena, TeamCenter).
  • PCB/PCBA design, prototyping, and debugging with manufacturing teams.
  • Strong lab skills with test equipment and simulation tools (LTSpice, PSpice).
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
  • Knowledge of PMSM/BLDC, FOC, switching topologies, thermal design, protection, sensors.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, validate, and mass produce EOAT electronics.
  • Develop and execute DVT/PVT test plans and fixtures.
  • Debug hardware and firmware, root-cause issues.
  • Manage lifecycle and vendor relationships for production scaling.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and mentor juniors.
