Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Apollo humanoid robotics program in Austin, TX. You will drive design, process, and performance improvements across the full system, from PCBA to full-stack integration, partnering with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware work, DFM/DFT, root-cause analysis, and mentoring junior engineers while advancing safety, reliability, and production readiness for scalable robotics platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience with PCB/PCBA design.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and testing (DFM/DFT).

Responsibilities

• Lead PCB/PCBA design and interface with manufacturing during release and builds.
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and optimize system performance.
• Develop design documentation for bring-up, field deployment, and compliance testing.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain wiring harness/assembly processes.
