Job summary

Portland Bottling Company seeks a Senior Robotics Engineer – Industrial Controls to troubleshoot, upgrade, and support manufacturing network systems. The role includes hands-on PLC programming (AB & Siemens), HMI development (Ignition), and integration with enterprise software.

You will collaborate with the Process Control Engineer on software architecture, install and deploy robotic programs, document architectures, and mentor production staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering or Controls Engineering.
• Seven years of experience maintaining and programming Krones bottling and packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test and debug robotics programs and software codes (PLC, HMI) to support manufacturing operations.
• Install, commission, and deploy robotic programs ensuring smooth integration with existing manufacturing infrastructure.
• Diagnose robotic systems and provide after-hours remote support as needed.
• Create detailed technical documentation and backups of system architecture and PLC programs.
• Provide training and support to production personnel on operation and maintenance of systems.
