Job summary

GrayMatter Robotics, a well-capitalized Physical AI company in Los Angeles, seeks a Senior Design Engineer to join the Design & Mechatronics team onsite in Carson, CA. You will design hardware, EOAT, and perform FEA/thermal analyses to ensure robust, manufacturable systems ready for deployment as RaaS.

Collaboration with Electrical and Software teams is essential. Minimum qualifications include 8+ years CAD experience, 3D modeling, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with 3D solid modeling and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware and mechanisms for robotic systems with focus on performance and reliability.
• Lead EOAT design with DFM and ISO safety guidelines.
• Perform FEA and thermal simulations to validate designs.
