GrayMatter Robotics in Los Angeles is seeking a senior mechanical design engineer to lead robotic system design and integration. You will own end-to-end development of robot cells, toolings, and EOAT, collaborating with software and mechatronics teams to optimize reach, cycle time, and efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in robotic systems, SolidWorks expertise, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of robotic system design and integration experience with six-axis industrial robots as primary platform.
• Demonstrated experience with 3D solid modeling, analysis, and 2D manufacturing drawings; SolidWorks expert level.
• Familiarity with motion control systems, robotics programming, and industrial facilities and equipment.

Mansioni

• Partner with project teams to understand processes and gather CAD files, measurements, and documentation.
• Build 3D CAD assemblies and own robot cell design end to end with cross-functional teams.
• Design and iterate robotic workcells, EOAT, and ensure ISO safety guideline compliance.
• Perform structural analysis and simulation for six-axis robotic systems.
