Ashton North LLC is seeking a Senior Robotics & Controls Engineer to lead turnkey automation projects in the Greater Milwaukee Area. The role focuses on ground-up cell builds, on-site commissioning, and complex control architectures across automotive, consumer goods, and heavy industries.

You will own robotics platforms, vision integration, and PLC coordination, traveling 30–40% to client sites while maintaining high standards of engineering craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year Engineering Degree required.
• 4–6 years of robotics/PLC integration experience.
• Hands-on mastery of Fanuc, Yaskawa, or ABB robot platforms with PLC skills.
• Experience with industrial vision systems and CAD/SolidWorks.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Initialize Robotic Platforms and coordinate calibrations for Fanuc, ABB, or Yaskawa robots.
• Design control logic and architecture for seamless PLC handshaking.
• Deploy industrial vision systems for part guidance and inspection.
• Lead in-house assembly, debug, and EOAT integration.
• Execute field commissioning 30–40% travel domestically/internationally.
