ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Senior Robotics & Controls Engineer to lead ground-up turnkey automation projects in the Greater Milwaukee area.

You will design, integrate, and commission robotic cells using Fanuc, Yaskawa, and ABB platforms while coordinating with PLCs and vision systems. This role requires 4–6 years of robotics and PLC integration experience, a 2- or 4-year engineering degree, US work authorization, and residency within a 45-minute commute of Milwaukee.

Qualifikationen

• 2- or 4-year engineering degree required.
• 4–6 years robotics & PLC integration experience on custom manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on mastery of Fanuc, Yaskawa or ABB platforms with PLC troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems and CAD/SolidWorks.
• Ability to diagnose complex automated machinery across multiple domains.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% and reside within commuting radius of Milwaukee.

• Initialize robotic platforms and configure I/O networks on major robot brands.
• Design control logic to coordinate with master PLCs and equipment.
• Deploy industrial vision systems for guidance, inspection, and handling.
• Lead in-house assembly, wiring checks, and EOAT integration.
• Execute field commissioning with domestic and international travel.
• Support applications engineering with technical insights and quotes.
• Mentor in-house personnel to optimize build workflows.
