Senior Research Associate at Yoh in Cambridge, MA, onsite role focusing on transcriptomics across bulk RNA, small RNA, long-read, single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and related technologies.

The ideal candidate will perform RNA sample preparation, operate NGS equipment, manage samples and logistics, and prepare protocols and data reports while supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform RNA sample preparation activities, including RNA isolation, library preparation, quality control, and sequencing.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot next-generation sequencing equipment.
• Manage sample tracking, storage, and logistics throughout the data generation process.
• Prepare detailed protocols, technical documentation, and data reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to workflow development and optimization.
• Support multiple projects and adapt to changing platform, workflow, and study requirements.
• Train and assist team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, equipment performance, and study results.
• Follow applicable laboratory procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
