Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb’s RNA Process Development group designs efficient, robust manufacturing steps for RNA drugs, focusing on purification processes to improve yield and quality. Qualifications

• BS with 4+ years’ experience in science related disciplines.
• MS with 2+ years’ experience in science related disciplines.
• Knowledge of chromatography, filtration (TFF/UF-DF), and innovative separation unit operations.
• Working knowledge of DoE and multivariate data analysis.
• Experience with process analytics and biophysical characterization techniques (HPLC, CE, gel electrophoresis).
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (cGMP/ICH) and QbD principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute and analyze experiments for existing and novel process modes.
• Support RNA drug substance purification process definition and scale up.
• Experiment using high throughput/automated or data rich setups.
• Support experiments to confirm robust process performance across the control space.
• Collaborate with analytical teams to characterize RNA properties and impurity profiles.
• Collaborate with upstream PD to characterize IVT feed stream to maximize RNA yield and purity.
• Prepare sections of technical reports and communicate findings internally.
• Participate in tech transfer activities to GMP manufacturing sites for RNA programs.
