Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Boston, MA, is seeking a process development scientist to join the mRNA process development team. You will contribute to early and operational tech development, producing and analyzing RNA constructs and carrying out preparative purification chromatography.

Responsibilities include performing IVT and purification experiments, analytical methods (CGE, AKTA, HPLC, ELISA), data processing, preparing buffers and reagents, and maintaining labs and safety.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in chemistry/biochemistry/chemical engineering with lab experience.
• Experience with RNA biology methods including IVT.
• Experience with TFF, CGE, AKTA chromatography, HPLC and ELISA.
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic notebooks (Benchling).
• Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform IVT and purification experiments (chromatography, TFF).
• Conduct analytical methods: CGE, Akta chromatography, HPLC, ELISA.
• Process data and provide summaries to team and stakeholders.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions per SOPs.
• Maintain lab notebook, order materials, maintain equipment, and troubleshoot.
• Uphold lab safety to the highest standards.
