Eurofins Professional Scientific Services in the United States is seeking a Process Development Scientist to join the mRNA process development team. The role focuses on production and analysis of RNA constructs and conducting preparative and purification chromatography.

Responsibilities include IVT and purification experiments, analytical methods (CGE, HPLC, ELISA), data processing, and maintaining lab documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry with 1+ years lab experience, or MS with at least 6 months experience.
• Experience with RNA biochemistry methods including IVT.
• Experience with tangential flow filtration (TFF), CGE, AKTA chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.
• Experience with good documentation practices and electronic lab notebooks such as Benchling.
• Unwavering commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, work planning, data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, follow SOPs, and comply with company policies.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in vitro transcription (IVT) and purification (chromatography, tangential flow filtration) experiments.
• Perform analytical methods including CGE, Akta chromatography, HPLC, and ELISA.
• Process data and provide summaries to team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and stock solutions for process development following SOPs.
• Maintain updated lab notebook, order materials, and support equipment troubleshooting.
• Uphold lab safety to the highest standards.
