Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and direct care during shifts in a geriatric setting.

The RN will assist the Director of Nursing, ensure compliance with nursing regulations, and maintain high-quality patient care while handling on-call responsibilities. A North Carolina RN license and CPR certification are required, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with NC Board of Nursing.
• Current license renewal every other year.
• Geriatric nursing interest.
• CPR certification yearly.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff ensuring timely completion of work.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures best patient care by supervising the Facility and directing nursing staff during the shift.
• Assists Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
• Supervises Nursing services for Facility during shift in accordance with regulations.
• Supervises and assists Nurses with patients during acute episodes.
• Deals with employee problems on a timely basis and documents actions.
• Assumes on-call responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
