Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse. The RN will provide perioperative care across at least five surgical service lines in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital setting in the Houston area.

You will collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a multidisciplinary environment, adhering to AORN and ASPAN standards.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher required.
• Active Texas RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years RN experience in Operating Room.
• RN experience in ASC or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience; multi-site or float experience preferred.
• Deliver high quality age-specific patient care and develop effective working relationships with ASC and Clinic teams.
• Communicate patient condition information to physicians, anesthesia, leadership, staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care per policy, AORN, and ASPAN standards.
