Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of Optum, seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse with proficiency across multiple surgical service lines to deliver high-quality perioperative care in a busy ASC/clinic setting.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, follow AORN/ASPAN standards, and hold ASN or higher with a Texas RN license and BLS; BSN and ACLS/PALS preferred. On-site hourly pay ranges are listed and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher in nursing.
• Active Texas RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years of RN in Operating Room.
• RN experience in ASC or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital experience; multi-site or float experience preferred.
• Deliver high quality age-appropriate patient care and develop effective working relationships with ASC/Clinic staff.
• Communicate patient information clearly to physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families and visitors.
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care per policies, AORN and ASPAN standards.
