Job summary

RhynoCare is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Care (ADoC) to lead the nursing program at a Long Term Care facility in London, ON. This is an independent contractor role with competitive compensation and flexible scheduling.

You will provide leadership, coaching and support to the nursing staff, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to personalize care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and help meet quality, safety and budget targets for residents.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the long-term care sector.
• Current RN license and completion of Nursing Unit Administrator Program.
• Current CPR designation.
• Willingness to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check (within six months).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and support to the nursing staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to customize care plans.
• Manage available funding and a team of nursing staff to deliver high quality care.
• Comply with company policies, Provincial regulations and applicable legislation.
• Lend a hands-on approach to leading, mentoring, and helping the team as required.
• Cultivate a team of clinical staff to deliver care in a unionized environment.
