Job summary

ExcelCare at Norwood in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing and lead the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care at our skilled nursing facility.

The ADON will develop and implement care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and address resident and family concerns with compassion. This on-site leadership role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory nursing role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising the nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
• Support compliance with all regulatory guidelines and facility policies
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
• Address resident and family concerns with professionalism and compassion
