Sabre Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer in the National Capital Region with senior RMF/ISSE expertise to guide cybersecurity architecture, compliance, and threat analysis for federal systems and OT/ICS platforms. Hybrid work with on‑site classified work and occasional CONUS travel.

You will lead RMF lifecycle activities, produce executive deliverables, and mentor junior staff while ensuring alignment with DoD/STIG requirements and visibility dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as CS, cybersecurity, IT or engineering.
• Nine years of progressive cybersecurity engineering, ISSE or RMF experience.
• Active DoD-level clearance and ability to brief senior Government stakeholders.
• RMF lifecycle execution experience including control implementation and continuous monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Serve as lead ISSE for information systems, OT environments and hybrid platforms.
• Manage RMF lifecycle from categorization through continuous monitoring and decommissioning.
• Develop and maintain RMF documentation in eMASS (SSP, SCTM, POA&M, SARs, etc.).
• Conduct Security Readiness Reviews and analyze ACAS/Nessus data; coordinate remediation.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, DHS, USCG and DISA STIG requirements; support cATO efforts.
• Perform Security Impact Assessments and participate in reviews and change control.
• Integrate Zero Trust and OT/ICS security into system engineering and architecture.
• Evaluate threats, OT/ICS vulnerabilities and supply‑chain risks; propose mitigations.
