Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC seeks a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer to provide senior ISSE support under RMF for federal cybersecurity programs. The role focuses on cybersecurity architecture, threat analysis, and continuous monitoring for information systems, OT, and hybrid cyber-physical platforms.

Responsibilities include RMF lifecycle leadership, RMF documentation in eMASS, and collaboration with government stakeholders to ensure compliance with DoD/STIG requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have nine (9) years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering, ISSE, RMF, or related domains.
• Demonstrated RMF lifecycle expertise from categorization to continuous monitoring.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher; U.S. Citizen.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity engineering, risk management, networking, and secure system design.
• Excellent communication skills with experience briefing senior Government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead ISSE for information systems, OT environments, and hybrid cyber-physical platforms.
• Lead or support the full RMF lifecycle—from categorization to decommissioning.
• Develop and maintain RMF documentation in eMASS (SSPs, SCTMs, SARs, etc.).
• Conduct Security Readiness Reviews and validate remediation actions.
• Support compliance with DoD, DHS, USCG, and DISA STIG requirements; contribute to cATO efforts.
• Mentor junior cybersecurity team members and advise on process improvements.
