Fitch Ratings in Chicago seeks a Senior Analyst to join the RMBS group. You will work with senior analysts on transaction analysis, run cashflow models, and prepare reports for rating committees. The role focuses on credit analysis, legal and structural elements of RMBS, and collaboration with issuers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience (excluding internships).
• Experience in capital markets, mortgage markets, and/or credit analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of RMBS transactions.
• Assist in development of ratings criteria and supporting reports.
• Produce internal and external written reports for credit committees and market commentary.
• Communicate Fitch rating methodology to issuers and investors.
• Deploy cashflow models and tools used in the rating process.
• Lead or support research projects and maintain rating relationships.
