Job summary

Fitch Ratings is seeking an Associate Director within the U.S. RMBS group to lead end-to-end analysis of RMBS transactions, assess credit and legal aspects, and mentor junior analysts.

You will chair or present at rating committees, engage with issuers and investors, and contribute to criteria enhancements. This role requires 5–8 years in RMBS/ABS or related markets, a bachelor's degree (CFA/FRM a plus), and strong quantitative skills.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of RMBS/ABS or related capital markets experience
• Bachelor's degree; CFA/FRM a plus
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with large datasets

Responsibilities

• Lead primary and surveillance analysis of RMBS transactions
• Own cash flow modeling, scenario design, and sensitivity analysis
• Present recommendations at rating committees and document decisions
• Drive criteria development and methodological enhancements
• Produce high-quality research and issuer/investor communications
• Manage issuer and transaction relationships; represent Fitch in meetings
• Coach and review junior/senior analysts
• Monitor market developments and regulatory changes
