Job summary

Fitch Ratings is seeking an Associate Director in Structured Finance RMBS for New York or Chicago. You will lead end-to-end analysis of complex RMBS transactions, assess credit, cash flow, legal and structural risks, and present at rating committees.

You will mentor analysts, engage with issuers and investors, and contribute to criteria development and market thought leadership. The role blends senior analyst leadership with hands-on modeling and communication.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of RMBS/ABS experience
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree and CFA/FRM a plus
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead RMBS primary and surveillance analysis of transactions.
• Own cash flow modeling and scenario design; oversee results.
• Present recommendations at rating committees and chair as needed.
• Drive criteria application and contribute to developments.
• Produce high-quality research and issuer communications.
• Manage issuer relationships and represent Fitch at meetings.
• Coach junior and senior analysts for analytical rigor.
• Monitor market developments and translate insights into viewpoints.
