Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and analyze returned electronic products in a collaborative setting in the United States. The role includes root-cause analysis, test-system development, and mentoring less experienced technicians.

Responsibilities cover component-level repairs, data collection, and the creation of troubleshooting protocols while coordinating with product development for enhancements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics or military electronics training.
• Minimum 5 years of component-level troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience soldering fine-pitch SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies.
• Experience with microprocessor- and microcontroller-based products.
• Experience troubleshooting analog circuits.
• Experience with switching power supplies preferred.
• IPC soldering certification preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and use oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Ability to solder both through-hole and fine-pitch components.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to mentor junior technicians.
• Basic proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis on returned electronic products.
• Perform component-level repairs on returned devices.
• Collect repair data and maintain a repair database.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced technicians.
• Assist with the design, construction, and maintenance of test fixtures and systems, including hardware, software, and mechanical components.
• Support the development and documentation of troubleshooting protocols.
• Provide feedback to product development teams for design improvements and enhancements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
