Job summary

Capital One in Plano, TX seeks a Senior Manager, Risk Advisor to lead a team of risk professionals and drive cross-functional risk governance across change management, controls, audits and regulatory engagements. You will translate business strategies into risk policy, mentor talent, and partner with legal, compliance and technology to reduce risk while enabling growth.

You will influence executive leaders, analyze data for insights, and deliver outcomes that protect customers and the business

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in Financial Services or Risk Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in project, process, or program management.
• At least 2 years of experience in People Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of risk management professionals for Change Governance, Controls, Issues & Events, Audits & Exams, and Access Management.
• Develop understanding of business strategies, products, services and risk profile.
• Identify regulatory impacts on objectives and risk appetite.
• Analyze data to identify risks and trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Provide guidance to business partners on risk policies and programs.
