Job summary

Capital One in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Compliance to lead the risk management program for the network and merchant businesses. You will provide compliance advisory support, challenge, and strategic guidance to help align the program with Capital One's enterprise risk framework.

You will collaborate with Legal, Audit, and Business Risk teams to ensure ongoing compliance across products and expansions, while presenting to senior leaders and influencing risk decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of experience developing, evaluating or implementing technology or risk assessment activities.
• At least 8 years of legal, compliance, or risk management experience OR at least 7 years of regulatory experience in consumer financial services or payments industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and challenge on compliance risks impacting the network and merchant businesses.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes.
• Analyze business processes and determine applicability of laws based on Capital One’s legal inventory.
• Identify trends in business data and external risks in payments.
