Job summary

RK&K’s Construction Management Division is seeking a Risk Management Professional to drive risk strategies across major capital programs and complex infrastructure projects. You will work with clients, project teams, and technical disciplines to identify, assess, quantify, and manage risks, integrating risk with cost and schedule controls.

The role may lead risk teams and mentor junior staff, contributing to RK&K’s risk management methodologies, tools, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• Mid-career or senior professional with demonstrated risk management, project controls, or construction management experience.
• Experience identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks on complex projects.
• Experience presenting risk information and recommendations to leadership.
• Experience integrating risk management with cost, schedule, forecasting, and project controls.
• Familiarity with qualitative/quantitative risk analysis and risk modeling methodologies.
• Experience using Power BI and risk management software (e.g., @RISK, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran, Deltek Acumen).
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of risk management plans, processes, and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate risk workshops with clients, teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, matrices, and mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate project risks across cost, schedule, scope, procurement, and design.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and risk-adjusted forecasting.
• Integrate risk with cost estimates, schedules, and reporting.
• Monitor emerging risks and communicate trends to leadership.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards using Power BI and related tools.
• Support evaluation of changes, claims, and procurement strategies from a risk view.
• Lead or support development of risk management methodologies and standards.
• Mentor junior risk management staff.
