Job summary

RK&K’s Construction Management Division is seeking a Risk Management Professional to support risk management across major capital programs and infrastructure projects. This role, within the Project Controls practice, will collaborate with clients, project teams, and technical disciplines to identify, assess, quantify, and manage risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• Mid-career or senior level with demonstrated risk management experience on complex projects.
• Experience identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks on major programs.
• Experience presenting risk information to clients and project leadership.
• Experience integrating risk management with cost, schedule, forecasting, and project controls.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and risk modeling methods.
• Experience using Power BI and risk software such as @RISK, Primavera Risk Analysis, or Deltek Acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of risk management plans, processes, and governance.
• Facilitate risk workshops with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, matrices, and mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate risks across cost, schedule, scope, procurement, and design.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and contingency evaluation.
• Integrate risk activities with project controls, cost estimates, and scheduling.
• Monitor emerging risks and communicate material risks to leadership.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for stakeholders using Power BI and related tools.
• Support evaluation of changes, claims, and procurement from a risk perspective.
• Lead or support development of risk management methodologies and tools.
• Supervise and mentor junior risk management staff when appropriate.
