Job summary

RK&K's Construction Management Division is seeking a Risk Management Professional to support risk activities across major capital programs and infrastructure projects. You will work within the Project Controls practice to identify, assess, quantify, and manage project and program risks, integrating risk with cost and schedule controls and advising leadership.

The role may lead risk management teams, supervise junior staff, and contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field.
• Mid-to-senior level experience in project or program risk management, project controls, or construction management.
• Experience identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks on complex projects.
• Experience presenting risk information and recommendations to leadership.
• Experience integrating risk with cost, schedule, and other project controls functions.
• Familiarity with qualitative/quantitative risk analysis and risk modeling.
• Experience using Power BI and risk management tools like @RISK or Primavera Risk Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of risk management plans and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops with clients and teams.
• Develop and maintain risk registers, matrices, and mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate risks across cost, schedule, scope, procurement, design, and construction.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis including contingency evaluation.
• Integrate risk activities with project controls (cost, schedules, forecasts).
• Monitor emerging risks and communicate to leadership.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive-level recommendations.
• Support evaluation of changes, claims, and procurement strategies from a risk view.
• Lead development of risk management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
