U.S. Bank is seeking a Business-Line Risk Manager to lead Corporate Functions risk oversight for Performing Operations within Consumer & Business Banking Operations. You will partner across the three lines of defense to drive risk management and strengthen the control environment.

The role emphasizes proactive risk identification, governance routines, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to influence business decisions and ensure robust controls across high-risk processes.

Qualifications

• Over six years of experience in risk management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary risk advisor for the CBBO Performing Operations unit.
• Build relationships with business leaders to identify risks early and influence decisions.
• Translate complex risk topics into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Support risk assessments, control evaluation, and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Identify emerging risks related to changes, strategic initiatives, and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with Audit, Compliance, and Risk partners to drive strong outcomes.
