Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a Manager of Risk Management and Insurance Programs to lead CGS’s enterprise risk, commercial insurance, claims, and surety initiatives. This role supervises staff and provides technical guidance to senior leadership on risk transfer, loss prevention, and insurance compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or risk management.
• Seven years of professional experience in risk management or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office and RMIS software.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of CGS risk management, commercial insurance, claims, and surety programs.
• Supervise risk management personnel, including establishing priorities, assigning work, and evaluating performance.
• Provide subject matter expertise to senior leadership on insurance, claims, risk transfer, and loss-prevention matters.
• Identify and evaluate assets, operations, and exposures; recommend risk-control and risk-financing strategies.
• Review contracts to identify insurance, indemnification, bonding, and risk-transfer requirements; coordinate with Legal and Contracts.
