Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a Manager of Risk Management and Insurance Programs to lead CGS’s risk programs, including insurance, claims, and surety. The role coordinates with Legal, Contracts, Finance, HR, and operations to assess exposures and drive risk transfer and loss-prevention strategies.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and seven years in risk management, plus strong MS Office and RMIS capabilities. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of professional experience in risk management, commercial insurance, or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and RMIS software at an intermediate level.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and continuous improvement of CGS risk management, insurance, claims, and surety programs.
• Supervise risk management staff and develop capabilities.
• Advise senior leadership and operations on insurance, claims, risk transfer and loss prevention.
