Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Risk Control Consultant to provide account knowledge on hazards, controls and management for our largest, most complex accounts. This role blends field assessments with collaboration across Underwriting, Claims and Risk Control to optimize risk and profitability.

You will travel 20–50% onsite, build relationships, write detailed risk reports, and deliver expert guidance on specialty areas such as Fleet, Inland Marine, and Industrial Hygiene.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in safety, risk control/management or a related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have or be able to attain appropriate certification to meet state-specific requirements, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a field presence, onsite with customers 20%–50% of the time.
• Partner with Underwriting to select, retain, and grow a profitable book of business.
• Build and maintain relationships with Underwriting, Claim, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers.
