CrossCountry Freight Solutions Inc is seeking a Risk Claims Manager in the Compliance department. The role focuses on managing auto liability and workers' compensation claims, ensuring sound settlements, and conducting investigations per policy.

The position supports remote work possibilities and reports to the Senior Director of Compliance. The candidate will handle property and auto claims, coordinate with insurers, and reduce losses with strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of extensive claims experience in a senior-level, individual-contributor role.
• Strong knowledge of liability claims administration and litigation avoidance.
• Thorough understanding of medical treatments, torts, venues, and jurisdictional matters with investigative skills.

Responsabilités

• Personally investigate and manage the company's claims with insurance partners to set reserves.
• Identify claims needing escalation during intake and gather information for resolution.
• Directly manage property, auto, and workers' compensation claims; engage defense counsel as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to insureds/claimants by phone.
• Prepare statistical reports of claims activity and lead file reviews on request.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and minimize losses.
• Foster a positive, professional work atmosphere and collaborate with staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
