Nationwide seeks an AVP, Risk and Analytics - Specialty Finance to lead risk, analytics, and reinsurance for the Specialty Finance business. You will establish and govern the frameworks, models, and reporting that underpin product risk/return evaluation, portfolio and capital management, and reinsurance strategy.

You will partner across finance, risk, and operations, ensuring risks are identified, quantified, and monitored with rigor while driving risk-adjusted performance aligned to enterprise

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Finance, Financial Engineering, Applied Statistics, or similar) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in insurance, banking, asset management, or specialty finance with risk analytics exposure.

Mansioni

• Own the Specialty Finance risk and analytics framework for pricing, capital, limits, stress testing, and performance measurement.
• Partner with Investment Risk and Underwriting to develop credit assumptions and portfolio models.
• Establish analytical and model-risk standards for assumptions, back-testing, product design, and monitoring.
• Define risk appetite and lead oversight through the Deal Committee and governance forums.
• Integrate Specialty Finance exposure measurement with the Office of Investments and enterprise risk reporting.
• Sponsor audit, compliance, and regulatory reviews of models, processes, and controls.
• Lead and develop the risk, analytics, and reinsurance team.
