Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Investment Professional in Specialty Finance to lead credit underwriting and risk evaluation for innovative collateral protection and portfolio insurance solutions. You will identify risk drivers, model scenarios, and price credit components while collaborating with investment teams and external partners.

Strong Excel and Bloomberg proficiency, plus leadership aptitude, are essential. Remote work within the United States is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; MBA/MS/MA in business or finance preferred.
8–12 years of related investment experience.
Knowledge of fixed income and equity valuation methodologies.
Proficient in Excel; Bloomberg experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Drives credit analysis for specialty finance solutions, establishing risk/return evaluation methodologies.
Identifies risk and return drivers, develops forward-looking scenarios, and analyzes value for pricing.
Communicates analysis and recommendations through reports and presentations to internal and external partners.
Contributes to risk appetite, budget and limit framework for specialty finance solutions.
Designs and monitors credit underwriting and operating manuals for the venture.
Builds relationships with internal and external partners to identify new product opportunities.
