TerraPower, a Bellevue-based nuclear technology company, seeks a Risk Analyst to evaluate, manage and mitigate risks within the TerraPower Risk Program across project and corporate contexts.

Reporting to the Project Management Office, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop risk strategies, perform quantitative analyses, and implement tools to support robust risk management in the nuclear industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12-15 years of risk management experience focused on projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience facilitating risk management sessions.
• Familiarity with ISO 31000 and COSO.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments of operational capacity, cost, quality, and schedule.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies for projects or corporate risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk mitigation.
• Serve as Risk representative to project teams.
• Guide documentation strategy to support risk processes.
• Monitor subcontractor information to identify risks and actions.
• Maintain risk registers and risk tools.
• Support quantitative analyses and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting nuclear risk.
• Administer risk tools and templates for easy access.
• Engage Legal and outside consultants to evaluate claims.
