Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Director of Insurance and Enterprise Risk Management to lead the company’s insurance programs and risk management strategy. The role reports to the Associate General Counsel and works with engineering and EHS to implement loss-control measures across projects.

The candidate will oversee ERM governance, annual risk assessments, and executive reporting, ensuring risk-aware decision-making in a complex nuclear energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or risk-management-related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of insurance-related experience, corporate risk management preferred.
• Experience in nuclear energy, nuclear pharmacy, construction, or utilities sectors, or insurance brokerage preferred.
• Certifications such as CRM/ARM/CPCU/CRIS are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage TerraPower's corporate and project-specific insurance programs and lines of coverage.
• Negotiate coverage terms, manage claims, and issue certificates of insurance.
• Collaborate with TerraPower engineering and EHS to implement loss-control measures.
• Oversee ERM governance, annual risk assessments, and reporting to executives.
