Job summary

KLJ seeks a Right of Way Agent IV to lead complex projects across transportation, utilities, and infrastructure. You will guide negotiations, coordinate project teams, and interface with clients to keep work moving efficiently and legally.

This role emphasizes fairness, clear communication, accurate records, and strong relationship management, with a 70/30 field/office mix and occasional travel. You will review deeds and easements and partner with engineers, surveyors, and managers to resolve

Qualifications

• 5+ years of right of way experience (land acquisition, title research, AEC support).
• Active real estate license or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of ROW processes, land acquisition, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead ROW resource on projects, guiding strategy, execution, and team coordination.
• Lead negotiations with property owners for easements, leases, and acquisitions.
• Review deeds, titles, easements, and other land documents; conduct title research.
• Represent projects at public meetings and build relationships with landowners and agencies.
• Assist with ROW budgets, risk tracking, and cross-functional project planning.
