Job summary

KLJ is seeking a Right of Way Agent IV to lead complex ROW projects across transportation, utilities and infrastructure. You will guide strategy, manage land acquisitions, and negotiate with property owners while interfacing with clients and project teams.

A strong understanding of ROW processes and regulatory requirements is essential in this role. Expect a mix of office and field work with occasional travel, and a salary in a broad range that reflects experience and location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years of right of way experience (land acquisition, title research, AEC project support).
• Active real estate license or relevant professional certification.
• Strong knowledge of right of way processes, land acquisition, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead resource on projects, guiding strategy, execution, and team coordination.
• Manage or support land acquisition, easements, permits, and property agreements.
• Negotiate with property owners for easements, access, leases, and acquisitions.
• Review deeds, titles, and other land-related documents; conduct title research and site evaluations.
• Represent projects at public meetings and maintain accurate project records.
