Job summary

Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc. seeks Senior Land Agents and Land Agents to support high voltage transmission line projects in Wisconsin and Minnesota. This role is part of the Energy, Infrastructure, and Real Estate Division, focusing on right-of-way acquisition, land leasing, permitting, and construction support.

Candidates should have 2+ years in Right of Way (Sr. 7+ years) with 345 kV+ line experience; travel up to 80% and field work in remote settings is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in right-of-way acquisition for high voltage transmission projects.
• Ability to travel up to 80% and conduct field work in varied settings.
• Minnesota Real Estate Salesperson License and Notary Public credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish trust and build long-term relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
• Make independent decisions in landowner negotiations and project coordination.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with landowners and project stakeholders on-site or at convenient locations.
• Explain project scope, timelines, contracts, and permits to landowners clearly.
• Provide regular status reports on land acquisition and permitting tasks to project managers.
• Prepare all necessary agreement documents and permitting forms for the project.
• Settle crop/property damages post-construction.
