Job summary

Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc. seeks a Right of Way Agent to support land acquisition, leasing, permitting, and project coordination for energy, infrastructure, and real estate initiatives in Wisconsin and neighboring states.

You will build trust with landowners, negotiate agreements, and coordinate stakeholder meetings while traveling up to 50% of the time. The role emphasizes accountability, adaptability, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in right-of-way acquisition and land real estate processes.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work remotely.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in client/vendor interactions.

Responsibilities

• Establish trust and build long-term relationships with landowners and project stakeholders.
• Negotiate and secure fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, permits and ordinances.
• Coordinate meetings with landowners and project stakeholders on-site or at convenient locations.
• Represent the company at public meetings before municipalities, zoning boards and similar bodies.
• Prepare all necessary agreement documents and permitting forms for projects.
• Provide regular status reports to project managers on land acquisition and permitting tasks.
