Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Rigging Supervisor to lead the rigging crew on field projects in Massachusetts. You will oversee all site activities, coordinate with customers and sales personnel, and ensure safe, efficient machinery movement using forklifts and rigging equipment.

The role requires extensive foreman experience in machinery moving, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, self‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years proven machinery moving foreman experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, supervisory and project management skills.
• Highly self directed and motivated.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Extensive experience moving machinery with forklift, skating, leveling and anchoring of machines.
• Able to work alongside field technician in assembly and erecting of machine tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all job site activities of the rigging crew.
• Plan and implement crew alignment with customer and sales directions.
• Direct workforce to meet goals in volume, cost, quality, safety and schedule.
• Supervise machinery moving crews and coordinate with safety personnel on training and investigations.
• Hands‑on supervisory role with moving machinery using forklifts, skates and jacks (no cranes).
• Develop and train crews in rigging operations and safety procedures.
• Coordinate safety training and incident investigations with safety personnel.
• Build relationships with customers, partners and support staff.
• Organize project information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Demonstrate professional conduct aligned with MEI values.
