Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Rigger/Millwright for full-time field operations in Southbridge, MA. The role focuses on setup, assembly, disassembly, and safe relocation of machinery, with emphasis on rigging safety and precision handling.

Candidates should have 3–5 years rigging experience (advanced levels preferred), basic blueprint literacy, and the ability to operate hand and power tools. CDL may be required for some assignments; strong safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required for certain positions.
• Three to five years of rigging experience for advanced roles.
• Follow safety requirements including PPE.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials for safety.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery.
• Attach loads with appropriate gear based on load specs and area.
• Signal or communicate with workers during hoisting/manoeuvring.
• Move and position heavy equipment using rigging lines.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment when not rigging.
