GlobalFoundries Fab 9 in Essex, VT is seeking a Process Engineer to join our 200mm Fabricator team. The role focuses on development, support and continuous improvement of RIE manufacturing processes.

This will be a fully onsite position, with a Mon - Friday daytime schedule, with some flexibility for evening / weekend hours as needed. You will drive improvements for throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning, define qualification roadmaps, run experiments, and collaborate across

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 4–5 years semiconductor experience with SPC/DOE knowledge.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken).
• 10% travel may be required.
• Ability to wear PPE in cleanroom environments.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Drive continuous improvement for throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
• Define and maintain process qualification roadmaps.
• Lead process qualifications and implement control plans with engineers and technicians.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Use FMEA to assess risk for process changes.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting to resolve long-term issues.
• Collaborate with integration, equipment, and quality teams to develop next-gen technologies.
• Apply structured problem solving (8D) to prevent recurrence.
