Corning Incorporated seeks a senior Engineering leader to manage the Ribbon Cable Engineering Department at the Hickory Cable Plant. You will drive safety, quality, and cost improvements through innovative technologies and rigorous engineering practices.

You will lead a team, oversee capital projects, and coordinate with cable technology, division engineering, and product line management to achieve manufacturing goals and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years direct supervision experience, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the Engineering team.
• Champion core engineering principles to ensure operational excellence.
• Develop and manage capital forecasts for projects and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee the Ribbon Cable Engineering team and ensure timely project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and timelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency across the organization.
