Corning currently seeks a Production Coordinator to assist in troubleshooting cable production lines and coordinate daily schedules. You will work under engineering direction to implement changes and lead frontline teams on the production floor.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely execution to maintain smooth flow of fiber optic cable manufacturing. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with experience in SOPs and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to direct cable production processes according to SOPs.
• Ability to communicate processes and procedures to production personnel.
• Knowledge of cable processing and manufacturing equipment.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Prior supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in troubleshooting flow and improve uptime and changeover efficiencies.
• Coordinate production schedules and direct personnel under supervision.
• Lead front-line area leadership and coach floor personnel.
• Ensure safe work practices and report violations promptly.
• Monitor product quality and maintain on-time schedule performance.
• Conduct shift handoffs and maintain logs daily.
• Escalate issues for resolutions with maintenance or supervisor.
