Job summary

eMed is seeking a highly experienced Manager, RFP Strategy to lead end-to-end RFPs, RFIs, and complex procurement responses across our enterprise business in Miami. The role combines strategic writing, financial analysis, and cross-functional leadership to craft compelling, compliant proposals for self-funded health plans and related healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant experience with self-funded employer health plans.
• Demonstrated understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits.
• Experience in employee benefits brokerage, consulting, or PBM environments.
• Significant experience completing or managing complex RFPs/RFIs.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end responses to complex RFPs, RFIs, and procurement processes.
• Identify underlying business requirements, evaluation criteria, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop a cohesive response strategy and workstreams with clear deadlines.
• Coordinate contributions from multiple stakeholders across the organization.
• Ensure responses tell a coherent story of eMed's clinical model, economics, and outcomes.
• Maintain strict compliance with procurement requirements and submission guidelines.
• Build and mentor the RFP team and governance framework.
