Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced RFIC/analog/mixed-signal design engineer to join the Silicon Systems team within the TeraWave program. The role is onsite in the Bay Area-CA, San Diego-CA, Austin-TX, or Kent-WA, with a temporary remote work exception while sites are developed.

You will design RFICs, implement using Cadence, and collaborate across systems, firmware, and product engineering to advance space-based communication technology. We value 10+ years in RFIC design, a B.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of RFIC design and development experience or equivalent research.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with RF or mixed-signal block design and Linux.
• Direct tape-out experience in RF or deep sub-micron analog/mixed signal chips.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RFICs and mixed-signal ASICs.
• Implement designs using Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF and similar tools.
• Develop analog models for verification methodologies and validation.
• Create and execute test plans for pre and post-silicon processes.
• Address noise, linearity, power, mismatch, and other impairments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, firmware, architecture, and product engineering.
• Support lab integration and troubleshooting activities.
• Resolve design and layout issues and drive timing and congestion solutions.
• Adopt AI-based methodology throughout the design cycle from design to manufacturing.
