Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ. You will lead design and implementation of antenna, radome, and RCS ranges and chambers, guiding cross-disciplinary teams and coordinating with government personnel to meet requirements.

You will manage project tasks, contribute to technology roadmaps, and drive modernization efforts while ensuring compliance and effective collaboration in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience in antenna/radome or RCS ranges.
• Experience testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range.
• Experience with antenna/sensor measurement theory and range operation.
• Ability to obtain Interim U.S. government clearance and pursue special program access.

Responsibilities

• Develop antenna, radome, sensor systems, and RCS ranges/chambers.
• Collaborate with thermal, structural, mechanical, and systems teams to define and analyze requirements.
• Oversee environment and service suppliers for ranges/chambers.
• Lead project teams and drive technical execution plans.
