Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks a Senior RF Test Engineer to design and validate RF test systems for satellite hardware from concept to production. Location: El Segundo, CA. Compensation: $140,000 - $168,000 USD per year.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, architectures, and procedures, and presenting results to key stakeholders. Ideal candidates have strong hardware/software knowledge, RF measurements proficiency, and experience with test equipment like VSAs, VNAs, and oscilloscopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years with a bachelor's or 4 years with a master's in RF test systems.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM, etc.).
• Test architecture design and development including scripting and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement RF test plans and procedures.
• Develop reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Log and present results to stakeholders.
• Lab and equipment management and procurement guidance.
• Present engineering design review materials to customers and executives.
